Please note the following service disruption in the western and northwestern region on Tuesday, 7th April 2026.
Due to slow-moving convoys in various locations as part of the fuel cost protest, there are considerable delays nationwide.
The protest in Galway City is currently at the New Docks Rd., preventing buses from leaving the depot. All departures from Galway are considerably delayed.

Route 401
Road closures will take place on the Castlepark Rd. on until April 24th, from Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 16:00. Services on Route 401 will be unable to serve Glenavon Drive, Gortcam, Ard Álainn, Ballybane N.V. and Clareview Park. A temporary bus stop will be located near Windsor Motors.
